Lakeville SC Is Hiring!

Lakeville Soccer Club is seeking applicants for the following positions within our club:

- Finance Manager
- Field & Referee Coordinator
- Tournament Director

The Finance Manager works closely with the Executive Director and LSC Treasurer. This person will be responsible for the following items:

-  Implements and/or maintains the bookkeeping system and accounting process required to provide a detailed set of records on LSC income and expenditures
-  Responsible for all day-to-day bookkeeping and handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable issues
-  Have custody of all LSC funds, securities, financial records and tax documents
-  Work with Executive Director on an annual operating budget to present to the Board for approval
-  Publish a monthly and year-end financial statement
-  Submit annual report of finances to the LSC Board
-  File all reports to the appropriate government agency in a timely manner including, but not limited to, yearly income tax returns
-  Pay bills within the approved limits of the LSC annual operating budget
-  Maintain an LSC bank account

This is a part-time contracted position with an average of 5-10 hours per week expected. Pay to be determined based on the level of experience. Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to the Executive Director at [email protected] no later than September 29, 2021.

The Field & Referee Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and individual program managers. This person will be responsible for the following items:

-  Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with Lakeville Parks & Rec (LPR), Lakeville School District facilities management, and all dome management groups used to acquire space for LSC programming
-  Secure and assign outdoor field space for all camps, practices, and league games
-  Ensure outdoor fields are in safe and working order for LSC programming needs. Communicate any issues to LPR immediately as you become aware.
-  Coordinate, schedule, and assign all league games provided by TCSL/MYSA leagues to their appropriately sized fields.
-  Coordinate the installation and tear down of all field nets assigned by the city
-  Manage and operate within the provided budget to ensure all fields are in working order
-  Schedule, manage, and communicate all space usage to program managers, coaches, and team managers in a timely manner.
-  Review and revise yearly dome contracts to ensure all LSC programs have space and are within the provided budgets.
-  Work closely with our Referee Assignor to ensure games are properly assigned referee crews for games, scrimmages, and tournaments. -  Coordinate educational opportunities for future referees to ensure the growth of our overall referee pool

The Tournament Director works closely with the Executive Director and assigned board committees and will be responsible for:

-  Leader of all operations for LSC hosted tournaments (2 per year)
-  Recruitment of teams into individual events
-  Communicate with coaches, managers, and administrators to recruit and place teams in the proper age groups and levels
-  Develop tournament schedules to account for team requirements, referee availability, field availability, and coaching conflicts
-  Recruit and manage all onsite event staff, referee assignor, and medical staff
-  Communicate scheduling with referee assignor for field loading and scheduling
-  Maintain positive relationships with team coaches/managers to help retain teams from past years events
-  Assist in marketing of events through league provided marketing channels
