Families will receive invitations electronically via email within 72 hours following the final date of tryouts

What happens if my player can not make tryouts?
Register for tryouts to be considered for team placement. Families unable to attend are also asked to complete the Tryout Absence Form.
Not being able to attend tryouts may affect your team placement. Tryouts are an open process that can allow for an influx of players new to the program. Our professional staff will do their best to find proper placement for those that miss, utilizing director observational notes and feedback. We will not have alternative dates/times to make up this event.
What happens if my player can only make one day of tryouts?
Register for tryouts to be considered for team placement. Families unable to attend are also asked to complete the Tryout Absence Form. The evaluations will be based on the coach evals and the day you had attended the tryouts.

Play ups are allowed for every age group U11+. These scenarios are not as common but will be decided on based on what our professional staff feels is best for the players' development.

What does the tryout fee cover?
The tryout fee covers the evaluators, administrative costs, and tryout shirts.
What happens at tryouts?
All players will be evaluated on the same 4-6 categories by 5+ different evaluators. Players will be separated into different small-sided games and moved around in order for every evaluator to get a score on them.
What criteria is used for evaluating players and forming teams?
LSC forms teams based on a player's tryout performance/scores, historical success playing at a given level, previous coach feedback, DOC and Staff year round notes, commitment to additional club provided resources, and families ability to demonstrate sportsmanship and act within the boundaries of our Parent/Player Code of Conduct and Referee Abuse Policies.
Will a player be guaranteed to a team?
We will make every effort to place every child on a roster. For age groups that have full rosters, we will offer to place extra players on a wait list. We are often able to add players throughout the fall/winter to fill short rosters. If we do not have a roster spot for our wait listed players by August 21 (Fall Season) or February 28th (Spring Season), they will be released and offered a full refund of their registration fee.

No, we ask that parents check in their player and leave.

Evaluators will consist of LSC Select Staff and external licensed coaches
How much is the tryout fee?
$50 per player and an additional $25 if they would like to try out at a higher age group
Is the tryout fee refundable?
No
