Evan Siefken Makes His 4th Senior-Team Start For Minneapolis City

On the individual level, where it was Steevie Lamarre that stole the show with a brace on Friday, keeper Evan Siefken drew rave reviews on Sunday.

“He’s been huge for us, right? I’ve played against him the last two years, at St. Olaf, and it’s always been, ‘Oh, we’re playing Evan, he’s a great goalkeeper.’” Morgan said of the St. John’s netminder. “He’s been big, in terms of his role, the last few games, and brings us a sense of confidence that’s nice to have in the back. He’s very sure about himself, very good in the air. It’s good to have him.”

New Brand Identity For Lakeville SC

We are excited to unveil a new brand identity for LSC.

A new logo, a new look.

We have transformed the essence of our brand into a new look while retaining our vibrant and signature brand colors. Through an in depth discovery process, we’ve better defined our personality, style, and way we will present our brand in different forms.

Today’s launch has been month’s in the making - working closely with one of the best brand strategists out there, Arsenio Lopez . He helped guide us through an extensive research and discovery process. The final product is a reflection of responses from several key LSC stakeholders who have contributed several years to our amazing club.

Why has Lakeville SC rebranded?

Over the last 5 years, Lakeville SC has evolved and continues to grow at an accelerated pace. This growth in membership has also involved significant improvements in performance and development of our players. Today we are one of the largest community clubs in Minnesota, with teams competing at a high level, both locally and nationally.

With this evolution, our brand has seen changes as well. Our most recent logo change in 2021 was met with feedback that we took to heart and felt the need to incorporate into how we present ourselves moving forward. The visual identity now introduces a lion and unique fonts that demonstrate how our club rises above the rest and has a rich depth of culture, history, and progression. The lion is a key figure in representing the pride we have for our club, as well as our ability to welcome those both in and out of our community.

While we continue to grow, a few things will remain unchanged: our unwavering commitment to staying connected to our community, creating pride for our club, and providing an affordable and top of the line development model for our players. Most importantly, all of our decisions are in the player’s best interest.

We are excited to share that our new website incorporating this new brand identity will be launching soon. Included in the launch will be information regarding the new uniform cycle, which begins Fall of 2023.

MNUFC2 Signs LSC Alumni Loïc Mesanvi to MLS NEXT Pro Contract

MNUFC2 Welcomes lsc alumni Loïc Mesanvi

"Mesanvi, a 19-year-old from Lakeville, Minn., joins MNUFC2 from the Minnesota United Academy U19 squad, where he has made 15 appearances and scored 13 goals over 1,000 minutes played to-date in all academy-level contests. While with the U19 side during the summer months, Mesanvi also trained with MNUFC2 during the 2022 season. He made two appearances and scored one goal for the Twos – with the goal notably scored during his debut match at Timbers 2 on September 11."
