Spring/Summer TOTS (Pre-Kindergarten)

3-5 Year Olds

OVERVIEW


This is the introductory program for our youngest players. The goal of the program is for participants to have fun while being introduced to the skills needed to play the game of soccer. Training and curriculum is designed to create a fun and pressure-free environment.


Age Requirement

The Soccer Tots Program is offered for 3 - 5 year old children. Players must be 3 years old as of the first day, no exceptions. Children in Kindergarten should register for our regular U6 Rec Program. Please note: TOTs teams may be co-ed.

Summer TOTS Program

Session Dates: June 22, 29; July 13, 20

Registration & FEES


REGISTRATION COST: $55

This program fee includes a t-shirt and a participation award.


Deadline

Spring TOTS Deadline: April 15th, 2024

Summer TOTS Deadline: June 15th, 2024


Any registrations received after the deadline will be placed on a waitlist and accessed a $5 late fee upon activation. Register before the deadline guarantees a t-shirt!


Refund Policy 

If a player drops for any reason, the refund will be as follows:

  •  Prior to the Late Fee taking effect: A full refund will be issued on request
  • After the Late Fee takes effect but prior to team announcement: Refund of all but a $10 admin fee
  • After Day 1: (even if players cannot attend scheduled practices) NO REFUND will be given

FALL SEASON '23

The Fall TOTs season will start on September 16th and run for four Saturdays.

The Spring TOTs season will start May 18th and run for four Saturdays ending on June 8th.

SUMMER SEASON '23

The Summer TOTs Season will June 22 and run for four weeks. There will be no TOTs the weekend of July 1st. 


Dates Included: June 22, 29; July 13, 20

SOCCER TOTS COACHES


Coaches will include LSC travel coaches, Lakeville High School North and South students/coaching staff and other interested coaches. Coaches will follow the US Club Soccer Guidelines in order to provide age-appropriate activities.



PREPARING FOR SESSIONS


Players should wear shin guards, tennis shoes or soccer cleats, bring a size 3 ball and a water bottle to each session.

Families will receive an e-mail notification of their child's team and session time after the deadline.

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED


Volunteer coaches are key to the success of the program. We need volunteers! Without adequate volunteers, rosters will be limited, and children will be turned away. If you are interested in coaching, please indicate when you register your child. Don't worry if you have never coached before! We will help and support you with a preseason coaching clinic, and support you throughout the season with resources including practice plans and age appropriate activities to help all our coaches a create a fun, safe, environment for kids to learn the game of soccer and improve their soccer skills.

FAQs for REC LEAGUES


  • Who are the Soccer TOTs coaches?

    Coaches will include LSC travel coaches, Lakeville High School students/coaching staff and other interested coaches. Coaches will follow the US Youth Soccer Guidelines in order to provide age-appropriate activities. 

  • What does is mean to be a Volunteer Coach?

    Volunteer coaches are key to the success of the program. We need volunteers! Volunteer coaches will be expected to coach the team practice once a week within their availability. They will also be expected to coach their team's games on the weekends as well.


    Without adequate volunteers, rosters will be limited, and children may be turned away. If you are interested in coaching, please indicate when you register your child. A preseason coaching clinic is offered to all volunteer coaches as well as a coaching guide to help coaches create a fun environment where kids can improve their skills.
