Winter Recreation Program

Kindergarten to 5th grade

OVERVIEW

The Recreational program is designed for players that are just beginning their journey in soccer, or would like to continue their journey in a fun and safe environment. We accept all levels in technical and tactical abilities with the goal of them improving those skills throughout their participation in this program. Our aim for the Recreational program is to provide players with a fun and inviting experience while learning the game of soccer.

Please note: The layout of Winter Rec is different than Fall/Spring Recreation.  Players will be put into groups no larger than 20 players, training and playing together with direction provided by our professional staff.

We are very excited to announce PlayMetrics, our new all-in-one registration and communications software platform. Using the PlayMetrics app on your mobile phone, you can now register and communicate with us, taking our club communication and organization to the next level.

PlayMetrics allows you to register and communicate with your program leads all in one place whether at home or on the go. It helps us communicate with all of our families more clearly and effectively, including updates to practice schedules and field closures as they happen. The PlayMetrics platform ensures that you are always in sync with your program and never out of the loop.

FAQs for REC LEAGUES

  • If multiple divisions are available for my child, what division should I register them for?

For the Fall season you will register them for the grade they will be entering into that fall.

For Winter Season you should register them for their CURRENT grade.  Do not register them for grades they will be in, in the future, or older/younger groups you have a different preference for.

For the Spring season you should register them for their CURRENT grade. Do not register them for the grade they will be in, in the future. If they are not in grade-school yet, you should register them for the TOTs program.

  • How will teams be formed?

Winter Rec is unlike Fall and Summer Rec in that players are pool trained by professional staff 1x/week.  There are no game dates, as this is a training environment that involved fun activities and small-sided scrimmages.

  • Can my player join an older/younger age group?

Due to the high demand for Winter Rec, we are unable to accomodate requests for joining age groups other than your own.

  • What happens if I'm put on a waitlist?

Once registrations are to max capacity, a waitlist will be formed for registrants.  The club will contact families once the waitlist is officially closed.  It is our goal to notify waitlist families no later than 5 days prior to the start of each program.
